Christmas may be a few weeks away, but Santa Claus is already in town!
The man in red arrived by helicopter direct from the North Pole, landing in the exact right spot: in front of Devonshire Mall! Santa, along with his elves and Mrs. Claus, welcomed all the excited guests to his castle in Centre Court, officially kicking off the holiday season. Happy faces, jingling bells and lots of good cheer can only mean one thing: Christmas is right around the corner!
The Big Reveal was a BIG success! An excited crowd gathered together to see some of Windsor’s most prominent community leaders undergo stunning makeovers by Celebrity Stylist David Clemmer, in support of Youth Suicide Prevention, Anti-bullying programming, and the Windsor Pride Community, Education and Resource Centre.
Norma Coleman, Chief of staff to Windsor Mayor Eddie Francis, Windsor Spitfires Head Coach & Owner Bob Boughner, Dino Chiodo, Ontario Chair of Unifor Local 444, and Olympic Boxing Champion Mary Spencer had their new looks revealed in a spectacular and entertaining show, hosted by Clemmer and MC’d by Michelle Prince. Nouveau Event Planning was there as this community of leaders united for a fun evening in support of a great cause.
Contract Glaziers Inc. treated their awesome employees to a fun & productive teambuilding challenge day. Nouveau Event Planning designed a custom tournament full of exciting & challenging tasks, which employees worked together to achieve throughout the day.
The day started off with a Charity Challenge, for which employees had prepared by collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items. Each item was counted and added to the teams’ point totals, with more than 2700 food items being collected overall. The Unemployed Help Centre was able to fill their truck with the food brought in by this generous staff.
The eager participation and friendly competitive spirit of the staff, along with the beautiful sunny weather, made this the perfect day for a teambuilding challenge at the Ciociaro Club Pavilion. Employees had a chance to hone a broad range of business and interpersonal skills as they battled each other for the Challenge Cup. The Standish Standbys team emerged victorious, taking home the prestigious trophy, but everyone who attended, including our Nouveau Event Planning Team, left the pavilion feeling like winners!
The quality, creativity and diversity of our wonderful exhibitors was truly on display at the 2014 Fall Wedding Event, with two halls of fantastic exhibitor booths, exciting fashion previews, and 6 stunning themed reception rooms.

Nouveau Event Planning had fun in the sun at this tournament and day of fun & games, Sunday August 10th at the Fogolar Furlan Club. With Face painting, tattoos, special performances, mini putt, bouncy castles and special appearances by Superheros, Pirates and Princesses, a fantastic time was had by all!

Ultimately all employees will feel that they have just made it thru the best day on the job with new insight and a better understanding of their co-workers.
Nouveau Event Planning coordinated the 2nd Windsor Essex Chatham-Kent saveONenergy Show & Symposium June 17th 2014. This show brings together exhibitors, speakers and potential customers looking at taking advantage of Ontario’s suite of incentives to update and retrofit commercial, municipal, institutional and agricultural buildings operators to save on energy and ultimately save on business costs. Show partners EnWin, Hydro One, Essex Powerlines Corporation and Entegrus have hired Nouveau Event Planning for two years in a row to take care of all integral planning of this event.
Education Arts Canada with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport produced an Ontario Tour of the JiggiJump Show which took place in January and February of 2014. The 2009 Tour proved to be extremely successful under the guidance and coordination of Nouveau Event Planning and Education Arts Canada once again hired Nouveau’s services from the initial planning stages for the 2014 Tour.
With the partnership of community stakeholders and local children’s fitness groups, Education Arts Canada, performed concerts and give away a free CD and Education Package aimed at parents at each tour stop throughout Ontario with stops in 12 malls in total. The Adventure Card offered free opportunities for parents to sign their children up for complimentary fitness activities in their community. This program will encouraged and exposed both parents and children to new experiences to be active. Nouveau Event Planning was instrumental in coordinating the Adventure Card participants at each tour stop along with Community Partners who had displays in the malls at each show stop.
Nouveau Event Planning consulted on all marketing efforts with each mall to ensure that the community was aware of the program and the malls had large audiences every step of the way. Nouveau Event Planning also provided on site staff management throughout the tour.
Green Shield Canada was looking for some new and innovative ideas for their 2013 staff Christmas Party and approached Nouveau Event Planning to coordinate the event in conjunction with their internal event planning committee. Nouveau Event Planning was hired to coordinate a themed “Masquerade Christmas Party” which involved themed decor, live entertainment and staff participation ideas. The staff event planning committee was able to enjoy the evening with Nouveau Event Planning taking over all coordination details, event set up, registration desk staffing and on site management.
Nouveau Event Planning Coordinated the Windsor, Essex, Chatham – Kent saveONenergyOM Show & Symposium that was created to give EnWin, Hydro One, Essex Powerlines Corporation, Entegrus and local businesses a platform to educate and promote the saveONenergyOM suite of incentive programs being offered to Commercial, Industrial, Municipal, Agricultural and Institutional enterprises. This event offered vendors a substantial opportunity to promote their products and services to prospects that may want to take advantage of these incentives to improve efficiency in their buildings and operations.
