Run For Rocky

Nouveau Event Planning Coordinated the inaugural Run for Rocky on April 14th 2013 in Windsor Ontario and was the first model of its kind in Canada to help fund Gay-Straight Alliance Clubs in high schools. The Run for Rocky is now being looked at as a national fundraiser to help support GSA’s throughout our country. Without funding Gay-Straight Alliances are insignificant.

The first Run for Rocky raised over $67,000.00 in Windsor and these funds will go directly back into the Windsor/Essex County high school system to help initiate education programs for parents, students and educators alike. The Safe School Program, anti-bullying programs, youth mental health issues, LGBT matters, scholarship programs, GSA student leadership development and mentoring programs are vital components within the Run for Rocky funding model.

Art in Survival Book Launch

Nouveau Event Planning Coordinated the “Art In Survival” Hard Cover Book Launch & Fashion Show at Devonshire Mall Sunday May 5th 2013.

Art in Survival | Beauty Behind the Reality is a collection of photographic art defined by the strength and beauty of women with Breast Cancer and displayed in a high quality art book.

Upon research for this concept, Jen & Steve Pomerleau learned that many women lost their sense of beauty while going through the daily realities of fighting this disease.

Through a combination of passion for photography and art, STEVE POMERLEAU PHOTOGRAPHY started photographing women who survived breast cancer to showcase inspiration and strength while helping survivors feel a sense of beauty.

Art in Survival | Beauty Behind the Reality is the brain child of STEVE POMERLEAU PHOTOGRAPHY.  Residing out of the Windsor/Essex County area, husband and wife team Steve and Jennifer Pomerleau developed the concept after breast cancer hit close to home.

STEVE POMERLEAU PHOTOGRAPHY has a reputation for clean, crisp, high-impact images and has been published both locally and nationally in over 300 publications.

My Pet Pony Show at Devonshire Mall

Nouveau Event Staff worked the My Pet Pony show at Devonshire Mall on Friday and Saturday sporting graphic shirts advertising the” Spot the Difference” Contest. This innovative Back to School contest has started and will run for the next 21 days on www.devonshiremall.com Contestants will be eligible each day to submit a ballot into the contest to win Devonshire Mall gift cards by simply spotting the difference in the latest fashion and back to school supply pictures.

South Windsor Youth Soccer Club-Day of Champions

South Windsor Youth Soccer Club hired the services of Nouveau Event Planning for the 3rd year in a row to provide entertainment and children’s activities for their final day of full tournament play. Entertainment included the always popular Tween Funk Show, the amazing and educational Bug Man and Jacqueline and her Puppet Friends.

The Spin Art Machine (exclusive in this area to Nouveau Event Planning) was once again a huge hit as children of all ages were able to spin their own personal piece of artwork to take home with them. The well-staffed face painting station was in high demand all day long. Everyone’s character favorites Batman & Robin and Snow White & Arielle were available to meet and greet and for picture taking opportunities throughout the day.
