Santa and his elves arrived today at Devonshire Mall for the holiday season. All decked out in brand new attire creatively designed by Nouveau Event Planning, Santa’s elves are sporting a whole new whimsical look. A chef elf, a ballerina elf and a carpenter elf will greet children at the gate of the castle until December 24th.

All visits will be video recorded and photographed and parents can upload both FREE of charge after their children’s session with Santa.

As St Clair College closed in on their final 6 weeks of planning the Bare Naked Ladies concert on their property they realized the monumental logistical task at hand was more than what administration and staff had realized it would be. With a phone call to Nouveau Event Planning in the morning a proposal was in their hands by 6:30 pm and Nouveau Event Planning was hired at 9:30 pm to take on the planning and logistics of specific last minute and event day components of the event.

Nouveau Event Planning worked 14 hour days for the 6 weeks and got the job done!! Put in charge of parking organization & coordination, front gate coordination, staffing & operations, acquiring & training over 250 volunteers for the event day, coordination of electrical requirements for the event site, the operation of the event souvenir tent and the handling of all monetary aspects the day of the event Nouveau Event Planning was at St Clair’s service for the 6 week period to ease their stress and complete the tasks needed by them.

Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island hired Nouveau Event Planning to coordination their new launch from Windsor Essex Pelee Island Convention and Tourist Bureau to Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island. A new name, logo, website, video and promotional plan was unveiled and industry leaders, tourism partners and local dignitaries came together to celebrate this landmark.

A “Local” theme was used incorporating everything made or produced in the Windsor Essex County area including sunflowers grown in Kingsville, a Windsor born saxophonist extraordinaire, sampling of local wines from the areas flourishing vineyards, a fresh produce table all handpicked and grown in the agriculturally rich Essex County area, caterers who used “local only” ingredients and culinary lavender gifts from a local Lavender Farm.

Red Bull Canada once again called on the services of Nouveau Event Planning for the second year in a row to contract out the services of some of their stunning contract staff to act as their distinctive Red Bull Hostesses. These hostesses took part in Red Bull events and activities throughout the weekend and ended their duties with the final presentation on stage of the winner’s trophy and traditional champagne spray celebration!!!

As their 40th anniversary fast approached Redoe Mold put a call for proposals out as they realized they did not have the internal staff to pull off the kind of event they envisioned. Nouveau Event Planning was hired after a thorough proposal and interview process.

Nouveau Event Planning handled every aspect of planning this event including the creation and mailing of guests invites, the creation of an e-vite system & electronic RSVP system, event décor, coordination of event catering, contracting out of entertainment, guest check in, contracting hostesses for the event, the organization of the history display, the logistics of the plant tours, guest gifts and itinerary & coordination of the speaker presentations. Onsite setup, event management and break down with final follow up details were all part of the job Nouveau Event Planning handled on Redoe Mold’s behalf.

The Ontario Physical Health Education Association located in Toronto needed a consultant, coordinator and on site manager to oversee their Judy & David Jiggajump Ontario Mall tour, The ultimate goal of the tour was to promote children’s health and fitness throughout this region. Nouveau Event Planning was signed on to take care of the tour management tasks.

Before the tour began Nouveau Event Planning was in charge of coordinating the promotion of the event with each mall marketing manager, the hiring of event staff in each city and the coordination of a pre-show fitness demonstration. Beginning in the Ottawa/Kingston area in early January, a Nouveau Event Planning staff manager travelled each week and took care of all onsite management, guest registration and preshow entertainment at each mall event location. The tour wrapped up in mid February in Nouveau Event Planning’s home town with the biggest crowd the tour had seen!!

After a call for proposals, Nouveau Event Planning was hired in late September 2008 by Jean Paul Blais of NXT Strategies on behalf of Kruger Energy. The Grand Opening of the first wind farm in Southwestern Ontario located in Port Alma was reason for big celebration. The challenging event location was to be in a farmer’s field where a clear span, heated and carpeted floored tent would be erected in the middle of a rainy, windy and cold November week.

The event went off without a hitch. Nouveau Event Planning coordinated extensive security details with Premier Dalton McGuinty’s office. Guests parked at a central location in Merlin and were bussed to the site with a hostess on board giving details about the wind farm development as the bus meandered to the event site. Many Kruger Energy dignitaries, staff and guests were flown in from Quebec for the event and simultaneous interpretation was arranged to accommodate their needs. The décor concept was created and initiated by Nouveau Event Planning. Simple but tasty food service arrangements were requested by the client and the caterer served up the details just right for both breakfast and lunch details. As Mr Kruger got up to speak the sun finally shone through the clear topped tent adding the ultimate touch to a perfect celebration.

Lex PR Canada, Canadian Club’s PR and Ad Agency needed local help to coordinate Canadian Club’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. Specific logistics including guests gifts, décor, a casino area, flapper girl and gangster guy greeters, flapper dancers, live entertainment, tents, sound, lighting and a caterer were all elements of the event that Lex PR wanted Nouveau Event Planning’s local experience on in order to coordinate the event professionally.

The event took place on a picture perfect night on the spectacular water front grounds of Canadian Club. Guests from as far away as Europe attended the event and were awed at both the attention to detail and the beautiful venue this location afforded for an event of this kind. As the last guests departed by a complimentary limousine service to get them back to their hotels safely, the illumination of candlelight along the historic front sidewalk of the Canadian Club Heritage Building spoke of the elegance of the night that was now a piece of the building’s antiquity.
