Cimpress Employee Wellness Fair

Cimpress, world leaders in mass customization, with popular brands such as Vistaprint, is dedicated to the health and wellness of their employees. Over the past few years, Cimpress has hosted an Employee Wellness Fair to encourage their employees to think about their personal wellness and to become familiar with local companies and organizations that can help them with their health and wellness goals. Nouveau Event Planning has been contracted to put this two day event together for Cimpress and to kick it up a notch to ensure that a professional presentation is coordinated from start to finish.

Run for Rocky

Nouveau Event Planning gives back to the community in a number of ways and Run for Rocky is just one of the events we coordinate pro bono to give back to the community.

The 4th Run for Rocky touched many in the community and met some major landmarks. Caesars Windsor Cares donated $20,000.00 to go directly towards Diversity Training for educators and both the Catholic School Board Director, Paul Picard and the Public School Board Director, Erin Kelly, united on stage to accept the cheque which will directly and positively impact their teachers.

This year’s Run for Rocky had over 500 participants take part and raised $79,045.44 which was an all-time high for the event. Total revenue for the four years the event has been topped $269,000.00 with all money going directly to fund Gay Straight Alliances in the Windsor-Essex High School Community making this funding model unique and the only one of its kind in Canada.

FINA Diving World Series 2016

In its third year of a four year commitment to the City of Windsor, the Fina World Series of Diving Tournament stopped once again in Windsor, this time on the road to the summer Olympics in Rio. Nouveau Event Planning was again contracted to be the local coordinator of by Diving Canada creating a very special VIP Area experience, coordinating the school program day, sourcing in-kind sponsorship and taking care of special details.

CARHA Hockey World Cup

Under a very tight deadline, Nouveau Event Planning was hired to organize the Opening Ceremony Reception, the nightly Athletes Village activities and the Closing Ceremony banquet by CARHA Hockey World Cup. One of the largest coordination jobs in our 30 year history was both rewarding and exciting for Nouveau Event Planning to be involved in.

The opening ceremonies began at Caesars Windsor with a dramatic presentation of the new CARHA Hockey World Cup trophy, which was ushered in by a live marching band and Vegas-style showgirls!

Over 2300 players assembled with their teams and then paraded through the streets of downtown Windsor. The final stop was a street party hosted by the City of Windsor.

Throughout the week Nouveau Event Planning organized a variety of activities that included the Molson Canadian gaming area; The PS4 Lounge; nightly live musical entertainment; an internet café with charging stations; and the very special Canadian Club evening!

The week came to a close with a thrilling Closing Ceremony Gala situated on two levels of Caesars Windsor. Over 1800 players, volunteers, and staff celebrated the end of a life time of memories and friendships created through the CARHA Hockey World Cup experience!

Wedding Extravaganza 2016

The highly successful Wedding Shows Windsor’s (a division of Nouveau Event Planning) Wedding Extravaganza ’16 show took place on January 16th & 17th at Caboto Club of Windsor. This was the show to attend this year to plan all the intricate facets of engaged couples’ big day.

Couples were lined up throughout the halls upon opening in anticipation for the BIGGEST wedding show in South Western Ontario. Each engaged couple received a $200 gift card to SymbolizeIt.com and a free Weddingbells Magazine!

Attendees visits over 200 exhibitors ranging from reception venues, cake decorators, bridal and groomswear stores, decorators, limousine companies, and so much more! Along the way they signed up at prize stops with total prizes given away valuing over $25,000!

Our fabulous fashion shows were held three times daily in the Interactive Wedding Gallery which also featured a tasting station; our Table Top Décor competition, and our “Wild Wedding Parties” People’s Choice photography contest.

Green Shield Canada’s Great Gatsby Christmas Party

Nouveau Event Planning once again worked with Green Shield Canada to coordinate a memorable Christmas party for their employees. The Roaring ‘20s Great Gatsby Christmas Party took party goers back in time the minute guests arrived at St. Clair Centre for the Arts. The bling and glam created through gorgeous black, ivory and gold décor along with flapper dancers and a signature bar drink were just a few of the special touches that helped to create the theme. The addition of live music including a jazz trio for dinner music and a full dance band for the after dinner party kicked the event up a notch this year to the delight of both administration and staff alike.

Santa’s Castle at Devonshire Mall

Nouveau Event Planning was once again the chosen supplier to help Santa and his elves at Santa’s Castle in Devonshire Mall. Lineups were long all season with rave reviews from the public on the friendliness and authenticity of Santa visit experiences.

Santa always knows how to arrive in style, flying and landing in the parking lot at Devonshire Mall in a helicopter to greet excited families who were filled with Christmas spirit.

CAA Travel Show

Nouveau Event Planning was approached by CAA this past fall to organize the CAA Travel Show which showcased the extraordinary vacations CAA and it’s travel vendors offer to CAA customers. This show, which took place on October 15th, 2015, offered wonderful one-on-one opportunities for attendees to speak with travel professionals and get all of the important information required when booking a vacation.

Nouveau also organized a children’s activity area and entertainment with an authentic German accordion player dressed in traditional lederhosen. Also, in the main hall attendees were swept away to the Caribbean with performances by Maracas Entertainment.

The Fall Wedding Event 2015

This year marked the 24th anniversary of The Fall Wedding Event hosted annually at Caboto Club of Windsor by Wedding Shows Windsor, a division of Nouveau Event Planning. This show was special for many reasons, including being the very first event for the newly hired Assistant Event Planner, Christy Litster, who took this position only a few weeks before the big show start!
